OurSkinny's Healthy Muffin Recipe

6 SERVINGS  30 MINUTES  96 CALORIES PER SERVING

If there is one thing I miss when I am trying to lose weight, it's baked goods. OurSkinny is here to offer a mouth-watering solution: try this healthy muffin recipe. 5-ingredient muffins in thirty minutes or less. Low calorie, low carb. An absolutely delicious breakfast muffin or as a snack on the go. 
2 OurSkinny shakes of your choice. 
1 cup unsweetened applesauce 
½ cup all-natural peanut butter
¾ cup almond flour
1 tsp. baking soda

DIRECTIONS
  1. Preheat the oven to 350 degrees Fahrenheit.
  2. Line or grease a muffin pan and set aside (all-natural no-calorie spray is best!) 
  3. In a large mixing bowl, combine dry ingredients and mix well.
  4. Add peanut butter and unsweetened applesauce and mix until fully combined.
  5. Divide the batter amongst the greased muffin tins and bake for 10-15 minutes.
  6. Check at 10 minutes and test with a skewer. If it comes out clean, remove immediately.
  7. Allow to cool for 5 minutes, before transferring to a wire rack to cool completely.

This healthy muffin recipe is delicious, filling, and easy to make. Choose your favorite OurSkinny shake - any flavor you like! We enjoyed the muffins made with chocolate and vanilla shakes, obviously, but the fruit flavors work well too. I used both Summer Fridays and Something Wild and we loved them. Carbs! Baked Goods! Protein! and under 100 calories. Enjoy.
